SYLVIA GOLD

Sylvia Gold, 89, of Passaic, NJ; died Tuesday morning, November 3, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Kingston.

Born in Montreal to the late Moses and Sarah (Cohen) Myers. She is predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Jack Gold. She is survived by her three children Franceen Pernikoff and husband Boruch, Jonathan Gold and wife Paula, Wendy Basch and husband Sheldon. She also leaves twelve beloved grandchildren, and five adored great-grandchildren.

Bubbie Sylvia exhibited a joie de vivre which was unparalleled and inspirational to all. She was a selfless and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and always put her family's needs first and foremost She cherished her growing family and was actively involved in their lives, never missing an opportunity to share stories about them. Her contagious smile and warmth will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.

Shiva is being observed in Passaic, NJ and on Sunday and Monday at the home of Dr. Boruch (Barry) and Franceen Pernikoff, 21 Hedge Place Kingston, PA.

The family requests donations be made to the I. M. Pernikoff Memorial fund at Congregation Ohav Zedek.
