Stanley Keith Hertzberg, 68, son of Bess and Meyer Hertzberg, a resident of Newberry Estate, passed away September 26th, 2014.
He was a graduate of Kingston High School and Penn State University. He owned and operated Star Garment in Exeter and most recently was employed in the Communications System. Mr. Hertzberg was a member of Temple B'nai Brith and other civic and religious organizations.
Stanley loved fishing, eating great food, technology and spending time with his grandchildren. His strong minded and courageous personality enabled him to successfully fight heart disease for numerous years and was a heart transplant recipient. Generosity was one of his key attributes, always willing to help. His strong spirit, presence, love and political perspectives will be greatly missed.
He was the beloved husband to Judy Hertzberg, loving father to Marc Hertzberg and Marni Arragon, father-in-law to Madeline Hertzberg and Jacques Arragon, and Pop Pop to Kasie, Addison, Elyse and Naomi. He is also survived by a sister, Michele Maulden.
A service will be held at Temple B'nai Brith in Kingston, PA on Monday September 29th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Temple B'nai Brith Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Shiva will be observed at the family home at 643 Meadows Lane, Dallas PA, 18612 on Monday September 29th, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday September 30th, 2014 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
