SANDRA RUTH HERSCHENFELD

Sandra Ruth Herschenfeld, 87, of Kingston, died on July 6, 2019.Sandra was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 4, 1932 and was the daughter of Margaret and Isadore Gonchar. She lived most of her life in Kingston. 

Sandy was devoted to her family, including her children, her brothers and sister in laws and her parents. She also had many life long friends. Sandy will be remembered for her sense of humor, her loyalty to friends and her devotion to her grandchildren and great grandchild.

Sandy was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Leonard and her son,Alan. She will be greatly missed by her children, Linda and her husband, Paul Ruff , Susan and her husband, Nathan Sullum, Ivan and his fiance, Judy Malyndziak as well as her daughter in law, Roze Herschenfeld. Her 7 grandchildren, Aaron Ruff and his wife, Esther Hwang, Leah Ruff and her fiance, Kosta Suli, Ellie, Talia and Maya Sullum, Sam and Leila Herschenfeld as well as her great grandson, Ayu Ruff will  miss their special times with Grammie. Sandy's older brother Howard and sister in law, Lynn have been by Sandy's side for many years.

The funeral will be held at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre at 11:00 am on Monday, July 8th with interment in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.

Shiva will be observed at the Woodland Inn and Resort, Wilkes Barre, Monday from 4 to 6 pm.
