SANDOR E. GELB

Sandor Gelb, of West Pittston, died Friday,December 20, 2013, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of that late Louis and Edith Moskowitz Gelb and was self employed as a grocer. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of Congregation Ohav Zedek.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Gelb, Saturday, November 16, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Rothman; sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted,Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at 12:00 noon, at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Raphael Nemetsky officiating. Interment will follow in Anshe Emes Cemetery, Plains.

There will no SHIVA services.
