Sally Leibman, of Apopka, FL, died Monday, February 4, 2013, in Center Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, FL.
Born in Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sarah Spivak and graduated from Hanover High School. She owned and operated NY Fashions, a women's dress store, on East Market Street, Wilkes-Barre and was a member of the former Anshe Emes Synagogue, the former United Orthodox Synagogue, a member of Congregation Ohav Zedek and Eastern Star.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Leibman, daughter, Sandra Leibman and six siblings.
She is survived by son Jerry Leibman and his wife, Ileene, Apopka, FL; four grandchildren, Missy Hibbs and her husband, Ron, Yardley, PA; Debbie Parker, Stafford, VA; Lisa Beck and her husband, Paul, Arlington, TX; Alicia Carpenter, Mount Dora, FL; six great grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Hannah, Autumn, Joshua and Jordan, nieces and nephews.
Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who loved her dearly.
Graveside Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 3:30 pm in Anshe Emes Cemetery, Rear Blanchard Street, Plains, with Rabbi Raphael Nemetsky officiating.
Shiva will be observed in Philadelphia.
