Rosalie E. Gelb Miller, 86, of Larksville, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Allied Services, Center City.
Born in Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Aaronson Gelb and was a receptionist at the Jewish Community Center, prior to retirement. Rosalie was a member of the JCC, Temple Israel, and other civic and religious organizations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Miller, sisters Natalie Lidz and Shirley Sadowitz.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael (Sara) Miller of Natick, Mass, Susan (Atty. Steven) Roth of Shavertown, Beth (Christopher) Romanowski of Larksville; seven grandchildren, Rachel Miller, Zachery (Emily) Roth, Haley (Joel) Shumsky, Sydney Roth, Chad, Leah and Molly Romanowski, three great grandchildren Mina and Miles Roth, Ellie Shumsky.
The family would like to thank her very special caregiver Leanne Wargo.
They would also like to thank all of the staff at Allied Services Center City Wilkes-Barre for their excellent care.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc.348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre with interment in Ohav Zedek Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Shiva will be observed Monday 7 pm to 9pm and Tuesday 2pm to 4pm at Congregation Ohav Zedek.
