Ronald David Feibus, age 59 of Wilkes-Barre and of Scranton, a Retired Wilkes-Barre Police Officer/Detective, died peacefully, Sunday, July 12, 2015, in his home, following a lengthy illness, with his wife of 29 years and children at his side.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Irving and Sarah Steckel Feibus and was a graduate of Scranton Central and York College where he received his Bachelors Degree. Ron was a retired Wilkes-Barre City Police Officer and Detective and was a member of the FOP Retired; NRA; PBA, Narcotics Officer Association; Happy Old Golfers of Sugarloaf (HOGS)and other civic, professional and religious organizations.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Lois Kleinman Feibus; daughter, Lillian Ellen Feibus, Wilkes-Barre; son, Joseph Jacob Feibus and his wife, Alina Lazareva Feibus, Wilkes-Barre; sister, Doreen Longo, Scranton; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 12:00 noon, at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre. Rabbi Pinny Levitin will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Scranton Jewish Cemetery, Dalton.
Shiva will be observed at the family home, 226 Plymouth Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, from 7 to 9 on Tuesday, July 14, 2015; 2-4 and 7-9; Wednesday and Thursday; 2-4 pm on Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday, July 19, 2015.
