Robert M. Rubel, 70, of Kingston, passed away at home on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Saul and Eunice Oxman Rubel and worked for United Rehabilitation Services. Robert had a great sense of humor. He really liked people, especially kids! He was a lover of food, MeTV with shows from the '60s. He loved to shop, buy model boats, trinkets, VHS tapes, and he loved going to gift stores. He was very close to his sister Nancy and her husband Mike.
He was totally devoted to his caretaker Sally Wascavage and spent many hours with her and Sally's extended family including Joe and Joe Jr. He loved his Aunt Marilyn and Susan. He was also close to his cousins Roz, Bob, and Lynda. He was taken too soon and will be sorely missed.
Graveside funeral will be conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Temple Israel Cemetery, W. Warren St. Dunmore with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating, followed by a celebration of Robbie's life at 3:00 pm at Backwoods Bar and Kitchen at Greystone Manor, 469 Orange Rd, Dallas, PA 18612.
Arrangements under the direction of the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Wilkes-Barre.
