RICHARD NEFF

Richard Neff, 59, of Elkins Park, formerly of Kingston, died Monday evening, May 12, 2014 at home.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Manny Neff and Sydel Solomon Minkoff. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and went to Culinary School. He was employed as a chef in various restaurants and camps throughout the community.

Richard is survived by daughter, Martha Neff, NC; son, Stephen Neff, CT; sister, Dr. Debra Schaaf and her husband, Gregg of MD; brothers, Max Minkoff and his wife, Robin, of Elkins Park; Scott Minkoff and his wife, Carra, Elkins Park; nieces, nephews and fiancee Aviva Perlo, Mt. Airy.

Funeral service will be conducted, Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Interment will be in Workman Circle Cemetery, Shavertown.

Shiva will be observed in Elkins Park at the home of his brother, Max.
