RENA IRIS MILLER ROTHSCHILD

Rena Iris Miller Rothschild died Oct. 8, 2021, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born and raised in East Durham, N.Y., to Benjamin and Julia Miller; graduated Cairo Central High school; and had a BA from Cornell University. She had an MBA from Columbia University, where she was a member of the first class that admitted women. Her career included hospital administration and years in retail, specifically ladies' fashion, starting with her role as assistant buyer for Macy's Little Shop.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughters Sarah and Rebecca; and grandchildren Ollie, Julia, Benjamin and Alexandra.

Friends may call at the house Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 or Monday from 5 to 7.
