Phyllis Brandwene of Kingston, Pa. passed away on May 24, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter.
Phyllis was born in 1929 to Sara and David Neuman and raised with her brother in Duryea, Pa. Her family owned the very popular Levy’s bakery. After the school year, they spent their summers at Harvey’s Lake.
Phyllis married her husband Harold and settled in Kingston. She started a marketing agency in the 1970s and continued it for over 25 years. Phyllis was very involved in local business organizations where she made many friends. She enjoyed jogging and yoga and attending her children’s activities.
Phylis is predeceased by her husband and her parents.
She is survived by her loving children Debbie (Jon) and David (Amy), granddaughter Rachel and brother Richard.
There will be a graveside service on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at the West Pittston Jewish Cemeteries 22 Wilkern Street West Pittston, Pa.
