NATALIE GERSTEIN

Natalie “Honey” Gerstein, 85, of Paoli, PA, formerly of Dallas, PA, passed away at Highgate at Paoli Pointe, Friday, December 18, 2020.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marian Pezzner Salsburg. Natalie spent her childhood in Shavertown, PA, until her family moved to Los Angeles, California. She graduated Fairfax High School in 1953 and attended UCLA in 1954. While on a family trip to Wyoming Valley, she met her future husband Allan Gerstein. They were married in 1955 and settled back in the Wyoming Valley where they raised their 3 children.

In addition to her parents and sister, Barbara, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allan and daughter-in-law, Rose Gerstein.

She is survived by her loving children, Jackie Gerstein from Santa Fe NM; Mitchell Gerstein and Brad Gerstein; both of Wayne, PA and grandchildren, Rachael, Devon, and Joshua.

Natalie enjoyed many years of collecting antiques including American cutglass and porcelain paintings, needlepointing including portraits and rugs, and personal investing. Throughout her life, she was involved in numerous civic and religious organizations including being a member of Temple B’nai B’rith of Kingston.

She will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 11:00 am in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.
