Nancy Rae Blum Shuman passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. She was 74.
Born in Wilkes Barre, Nancy was the daughter of Leon & Marian Blum. She was the granddaughter of Herman & Sophia Blum and Louis & Golda Rich.
Nancy graduated from Kingston High School (1961) and Emerson College (1965) in Boston, Massachusetts. She majored in Speech Therapy and was the first speech therapist at Allied Services.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur, brother, Bob, son Larry and daughter-in-law, Aarica, daughter, Lynne Harlacher and son-in-law, Scot.
She also leaves grandchildren Mickey Shuman, Eliana Shuman, Joanna Harlacher, and Megan Harlacher.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Shiva will be observed at 94 East Walnut Street, Kingston, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Wednesday and 7 to 9 on Thursday, November 22, 2018.
Donations may be made to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund at Temple Israel.
