Nancy I. Judd, 94, of Kingston, died on Friday evening, May 14, 2021, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Gussie Cohen; was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Russell Sage College, Troy. She worked as a Real Estate Broker; enjoyed playing bridge and was the Chairwoman of the local Readers for the Blind. She was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, its sisterhood and many other civic and religious organizations. She loved her friends, neighbors and "The Valley".
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Marvin Judd; sister, Mrs. Cissie Weiss and brothers, Dr. Maynard Cohen and Joel Cohen.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; her daughter Diane and her husband, Dr. George Piper of Haddonfield, NJ; their daughter, Lauren Koch and her husband, Michael, and their children Kate and Michael. Nancy's son, Dr. James Judd and his wife, Suzanne of Wyncote, PA and their daughter , Dr. Julia Judd and her husband, Matthew Cardamone and their child, Cameron; Son David Judd and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021, for immediate family in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating.
