Myra Lee Smulovitz, 66, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Myra was born in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Doris Holtzman Brown and preceded in death by her husband, Norman Smulovitz.
She is survived by her sister, Terry Brown Galicki (husband Frank), sister-in-laws Rosalind McFadden and Rochelle Hearing; cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nephews and a great-niece.
Myra was a member of the Jewish Community Center, Temple Israel and enjoyed her bowling league at Chackos. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially Carrie and Bob and her cat "Fluffy".
A special thank you goes to the staff at John Heinz Rehabilitation Center and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
Graveside funeral service will be conducted, Friday, November 28, 2014, at 1:00 pm in Anshe Sfard Cemetery, ***********Approximate GPS address: close to 2400 Lower Demunds Rd., Dallas, PA 18612*******Lower Demunds Road, Dallas, with Rabbi David Kaplan officiating.
