MICHAEL PENSAK

Michael J. Pensak, of Kingston, died on Monday, May 23, 2022.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Samuel E. and Florence Rubel Pensak and was a graduate of Kingston High School. Michael also attended Kings College. Michael worked at Pensak’s Kosher Delicatessen and later became a partner with Sam.  Michael also worked at Crystal Vision Center, prior to retirement. He was a member of Temple Israel, the JCC and many other civic and religious organizations. He enjoyed spending time with family and watching sports.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife Lois Meyer Pensak; siblings, Susan Cohen and her husband, Bob of BenSalem; Cindy Pensak of Cherry Hill, NJ; Marc Pensak and his wife, Shelley of Shavertown, nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating.

Shiva will be observed at the home of his brother and sister in law, 215 Field Ridge Drive, Shavertown, PA 18708, Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
