Mark Kornfeld, 75, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Samuel and Esther Bauman Kornfeld and was a graduate of Meyers High School and attended Penn State University. He served in the United States Army in the 300 Field Hospital and was owner and operator of The Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre.
Mark is survived by his three sons, Eric Kornfeld and his wife, Ellen; Ross Kornfeld and his wife Dana; Mitch Kornfeld and his wife, Taly; all of Kingston; 11 grandchildren, Ali, Seth, Nora, Tess, Sam, Ash, Maya, Zev, Bekah, Coby and Zak Kornfeld and brothers, Myron "Mike" Kornfeld of Boynton Beach, FL and Gary Kornfeld, of Kingston.
Funeral services were held. Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiated.
Arrangements by the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre.
Memorial contributions, may be made to charity of donors choice.
Shiva will be observed at The Woodlands Inn and Resort, 2 to 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm on Thursday and 2 to 4 pm on Friday.
