Marilyn Rosenberg, 80, of Kingston, formerly of Shavertown, died Saturday evening, February 1, 2014 in Manor Care, Kingston.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, and residing in the Wyoming Valley all her life, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Kornfeld Wolfe. Marilyn was a graduate of GAR High School and was employed in woman's retail as a salesperson. She was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, the Jewish Community Center and other civic and religious organizations.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and brothers, Charles Wolfe and Leon (Label) Wolfe.
She is survived by her daughter, Roslyn and her husband, Dr. William Forstate, Pittsburgh; and son, Scott D Rosenberg, Edgewater, NJ; grandchildren, Benjamin and Sylvia Forstate and Stephanie Rosenberg.
Funeral service will be conducted, Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 11:00 am from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan and Cantor Ahron Abraham officiating.
Interment will be in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.
Shiva will be observed Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 at 115 First Ave., Kingston.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to charity of donor's choice.
