MARIAN BERK SCHOENFELD

Marian Berk Schoenfeld, 90, of Sarasota, FL, passed away, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Zella Greenberger Berk. She graduated from Wyoming Seminary, Kingston and Bradford Jr. College where she received her Associate Degree. She was very involved in community volunteering and was an executive recruiter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands,Jack Schoenfeld and Harold J. Barr and her brother, Joseph Berk.

She is survived by her daughters, Jill (Gregory) Ikens of Stow, MA; Jane (James) Shropshire of Lexington, KY; stepchildren: Andrew (Ann), Douglas, Emily (Scott Kane), Audrey and James Barr; step-grandchildren; and beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 10:00 am in Temple Israel Cemetery in Swoyersville.
