LILA MAIER

Lila Maier, of Kingston, died early Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline Morris Friedman and was a graduate of GAR High School. Lila worked at the United Hebrew Institute and was a longtime active member of Congregation Ohav Zedek, Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Maier in 2010.

Lila is survivored by her daughter, Allison Clarke, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; brother, Michael Friedman and sister Marilyn Kaplan;

Graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 3:00 pm in Ohav Zedek Cemetery with Rabbi David Kaplan officiating.
