Lawrence Kahn, 90, son of the late Ben and Anna Kahn, passed away, September 29, 2013, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred, sons, Mark, Allan, daughters, Patrice and Robin.
He was a veteran of World War II as a Marine. He worked for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union as a business agent before retiring. He was an active member of Temple B'nai B'rith, the Jewish Community Center. He loved fishing, making stained glass, traveling and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife, sons, and daughters, he is survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son in law Martin Heller.
A Memorial service will be held at Temple B'nai Brith, 408 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 6:00 pm.
Shiva will be observed 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Wednesday and Thursday and from 3-5 pm on Friday at the home of Mildred Kahn, 170 Heisz Street, Apt A, Edwardsville.
