Larry Amdur, lifelong Wyoming Valley resident, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Moses and Helen Goldstein Amdur and was a graduate of Meyers High School and Wilkes College. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines and was a member of Temple B'nai B'rith Synagogue; member and past president of the Jewish Community Center of Wyoming Valley and a member of the Hunstville golf club and the former Valley Tennis and Swim Club. He spent most of his successful career as a sales executive with the former Carter Footwear Company, of Wilkes-Barre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his loving wife, Elaine.
He is survived by his children, Lee (Carol) Krohn of Vermont; Jeri Sue Krohn of Massachusetts; Brett (Rachel) Amdur of Havertown; four grandchildren and a sister, Enid Wolfson of Riverdale, NY.
Due to Covid, a private graveside funeral service was held in Temple B'nai B'rith Cemetery, Hanover Township.
