KITTY PRATER

Kitty Prater, of Wilkes-Bare, formerly of NJ, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Marie Hagood Hargrove and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Kitty was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John Prater; son, Willie Hagood; sisters, Marion Walker, Lucille Walker Sales, brothers, Dennis Hagood and Robert Lee Hagood.

She is survived by her daughter, Augustine Prater Jordan, Newark, NJ; sons, John Prater and his wife, Gloria, Wilkes-Barre; Tyrone Prater, Wilkes-Barre; Ethan Prater, Wilkes-Barre, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 5:30 pm from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre. Visitation will be from 3 to 5:30 pm.
