JACQUELINE KRANSON Obituary

Jacqueline Lorraine Kranson, died Tuesday evening, December 16, 2014 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born in New York City and was the daughter of the late Morris and Malvina Rosenthal. She had been married to her husband, Saul Kranson for 67 years.

Jackie was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, an active member of the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary and was a member of multiple Jewish organizations over the years.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by sons, Dr. Blair Kranson and his wife, Elsie, West Hills, CA; Douglas Kranson and his wife, Darlene, Wilkes-Barre; six grandchildren, Michelle Richmond and her husband, Geoffrey; Melanie Lee and her husband Guy; Sheri Petersen and her husband, Leon; Ryan Kranson and his wife, Jill; Kirk Kranson and his wife, Katy; Samantha Harris and her husband, Joseph; twelve great grandchildren, Nova Lee; Brianna Petersen; Kiara Petersen, Gavin Lee; Kaci Kranson, Madison Kranson, Cole Kranson, Kylie Kranson, Kadence Harris, Shanah Harris and Eli Harris, Olivia Richmond; brother, Bert Rosenthal, Margate, NJ and sister, Sheila Rosenthal, Wilkes-Barre.

Funeral service will be held, Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 10:00 am at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel., Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan and Cantor Ahron Abraham officiating.
Interment will be in Temple Israel Cemetery, Dennison St, Swoyersville.

Shiva will be observed at 1 Reliance Drive, Wilkes-Barre, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday and 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM on Friday.
