Jack L. Geller, 70, of Wilkes-Barre, died suddenly, September 3, 2016, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Murray and Toby Barakus Geller and was a graduate of Linden High School and Wilkes College. Jack was employed as an Administrator for the Government prior to retiring and was a member of Temple Israel, the YMCA and other civic and religious organizations.
Jack is survived by his wife Judy, Wilkes-Barre; sons, David Geller (Shanen) Harrisburg; Jonathan Geller, Aspen, CO; Jeffrey Geller, Aspen, CO; daughter, Alisa Geller (Tracy), Storrs, CT; 2 grandchildren, Brady Turk-Geller and Jonah Turk-Geller; brother, Michael Geller; sister, Felice Stokes, nieces and nephews, sister in law, Sukyong Kuss and brother in law, Anthony Amado.
Graveside Funeral service will be today, Monday, September 5, 2016, at 11:00 am in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville. Rabbi Larry Kaplan will officiate.
Arrangements by the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre.
Shiva will be observed 7-9 pm Monday; 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday and Thursday and 204 pm Friday at 22 Maffett Street, Wilkes-Barre.
