IDA MILLER Obituary

Ida K. Miller, 93, formerly of Edwardsville, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 in Holy Redeemer Hospital, Meadowbrook, PA.

 

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Kanner and was a graduate of GAR High School.  Ida was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue, a member of the former Hoche Yosher; United Orthodox and Agudas Israel Synagogues and a member of the Jewish Community Center.  She worked as an interior designer for Bell Furniture, prior to retirement.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Miller and brother, Leonard Kanner.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Ralston of Mountain Top, Robert (Debbie) Miller of Warwick, RI, Miriam Lefkowitz of Huntingdon Valley, PA; grandchildren: Marissa (Eric), Marc (Bethany),  Benjamin, Sarah, and Rachel. Great grandchildren: Evan, Zoe and Ayla

 

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 10:00 am from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre with interment in Holche Yosher Cemetery, Hanover Township.

 

Temple Israel minyan will be conducted at the JCC on Sunday, at 5:15 pm.   The family will stay until 7 pm for shiva and then will move to their respective homes.

 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Temple Israel, Camp Ramah in the Poconos, or a charity of your choice
