HARRIET "HONEY" MITCHNECK Obituary

Harriet "Honey" Mitchneck, of Dallas, PA, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.  She was born in Brooklyn on June 18, 1930 to the late Max and Rose Kramer.  

 

Honey enjoyed fashion which led her to an early career working for the Hollywood Dress Shop in Wilkes-Barre and later she became a real estate agent working for Ruth K. Smith Century 21 and Lewith and Freeman until she retired.  She then moved to Florida where she expanded her interests in golf, tennis and bridge, among other activities. 

 

Honey was preceded in death by her parents, husband David Mitchneck; granddaughter Sarajane Weisberger and brother Larry Kramer.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Linda Weisberger of St. Petersburg, FL, Jill Stevens Pannella and her husband Stan of Doylestown, Lisa Grossman and her husband, Dr. Loren of Shavertown; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Frances Orbach and her husband Bernard of Harrisburg; nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm in Ohav Zedek Cemetery, 500 Chestnut Street, Hanover Township.

Shiva will be Sunday 6-8 at 725 Hampton Rd. Shavertown, PA 18708.
