Harold Frank, of Philadelphia and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 22, 2015, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Scranton, a son of the late Louis and Blanche Lehrman Frank, he was a graduate of Central High School, Scranton. Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal with four bronze stars. He fought in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
He was employed as a men's clothing manager and was on the board of the Jewish Community Center and Temple Israel for four years.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son, Marty.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, the former Marion Ehrenreich, Philadelphia; daughter, Judy Frank and her husband, Mark Nevadonski, Philadelphia.
Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan and Cantor Aaron Abraham officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donors choice.
There will be no local shiva.
