GERTRUDE SAFFIAN

Gertrude Saffian, 93, of Kingston, formerly of Dallas, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Ida Botwen Saper and was a member of Temple B'nai B'rith and other civic and religious organization.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Harold.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Saffian and his wife, Amanda, of Mill Valley, CA; Robert Saffian of Wallingford,n PA; grandsons, Myles and Gavin Saffian and brother, Bernard Saper, NYC;

Funeral service will be Sunday, November 30, 2014, at 1:30 pm at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre. Rabbi Roger Lerner will officiate.

Interment will be in Temple B'nai B'rith Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Shiva will be observed locally at a time to be announced.
