GAIL CHRISTOPHER

Gail Christopher of Dallas died on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Gail was born in Washington DC on October 6, 1943.  She was raised in Texas and Germany and served her country proudly in the United States Navy.  Gail continued in service to her country as an employee of the Veterans Administration in New York and Wilkes Barre.  She retired in 2009 from the Wilkes Barre VAMC where she was a Budget Analyst for many years.

Gail is survived by her sister, Harriet Nishioka of Japan, stepchildren, Peggy Anne Smith and Frank Christopher, both of California, and several step grandchildren.  

She was beloved by her friends, in particular her caregiver, Carol Tompkins.  Gail loved her pets, old movies, and shopping.

There will be no public services.

Memorial donations may be made to Blue Chip Animal Rescue, Dallas or the SPCA of Luzerne County.
