Fay Marie Jaffe Berg, of Wilkes-Barre, died at home, Thursday, September 23, 2021.
Born in Wilkes-Barre and grew up in Ashley, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Anna T. Jaffe and ran the office at her family's business, Mastercraft Telefilms, prior to retirement. She graduated from Ashley High School and attended Wilkes College. Fay was very active in both the Synagogue and Community Life. She was a member of the Jewish Community Center, Congregation Ohav Zedek, its sisterhood and was the recipient of the Woman of Valor Award from the sisterhood.
Fay was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Berg.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Wendy Shulman and her husband, Isaac of Teaneck, NJ; sons, Allan Berg and his wife, Beth of Far Rockaway, NY; Steven Berg of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a lover of animals and is survived by her favorite cat, Jack, aka nono.
A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, September 24, 2021, in Holche Yosher Cemetery, S. Main Street. Hanover Twp with Rabbi Dovid Kaplan officiating.
Shiva will be observed in NJ and NY and there will be no local shiva.
