Edward Leibman, of Monroe Township, NJ, died Saturday evening, September 5, 2015, at home with family by his side.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Meyer Leibman and the late Helen Ageloff Leibman. Edward served in the United States Army during World War Ii and was employed by Kings Pharmacy, Brooklyn, prior to retirement.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Libby Smith and brother, Joseph Leibman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice; son, Allan Leibman of Brooklyn; daughter, Barbara Pesce and her husband, Frank of Hillsboro, NJ; two grandchildren; siblings, Doris Lipman of Harrisburg, Bernard Leibman of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Sandra Platsky of Wilkes-Barre and many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be held, Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at 2:00 pm in Anshe Emes Cemetery, Rear Blanchard Street, Plains. Rabbi Dovid Kaplan will officiate.

Local Shiva will be observed at the home of his sister, Sandra Platsky, at 39 Plymouth Ave., Wilkes-Barre, 7-9 Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday and Thursday and 2-4 on Friday.
