Diane Rabinowitz, age 97, of Wilkes-Barre passed away on April 8. Born February 10, 1929, in Wilkes-Barre, Diane was the daughter of the late Mania and Harry Kornblau, wife of the late William Rabinowitz, sister of the late Doris Kramer, late Ruth Sirotkin, and late Maurice Kornblau, and mother of the late Jeff Rabinowitz.
Diane is survived by her son, Jay Rabinowitz (Mindy) of Denver, granddaughter Lindsey Bernstein (Richard) of Denver, grandson Eric (Ashley) of Denver, and great granddaughter, Willow Rabinowitz.
Diane was a graduate of Coughlin high school. She worked alongside her husband at Alert Beauty Supply for many years. She also volunteered at Mercy Hospital. She was a life member of Temple Israel, Hadassah, and the Jewish home.
Diane was also known for her splendid chocolate trays, which she made for many, much to their delight.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 12, at 11 AM at the Temple Israel cemetery in Swoyersville. Shiva will be Sunday from 2 to 4 in Provincial Towers first floor.
