Dr. Lewis Krotick, 84, of Naples, FL, formerly of Kingston, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Naples.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Max and Anna Morris Krotick and was a graduate
of Kingston High School, and PA School of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Krotick practiced Optometry in
Pittston for 49 years and in Dallas, prior to retiring to Naples, FL. He was a member of Temple Israel
Synagogue, Wilkes-Barre; the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, the Pittston Rotary; Temple Shalom, Naples, and other civic, religious and medical organizations.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Krotick.
Lewis is survived by his loving wife, the former Connie Birnbaum; children, Mindy and her husband,
Dr. Edward Herman, Scarsdale, NY; Nan Krotick, NYC, NY; Glenn Krotick and his wife, Dr. Suzanne
Long, Philadelphia and one grandson, Adam Herman.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at the Rosenberg Funeral
Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre. Rabbi Larry Kaplan and Cantor Ahron Abraham will
officiate.
Interment will follow in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville.
There will be no local shiva.
