DORIE PEZZNER

Dorie Pezzner, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Max and Hannah Eskovitz Tepper and was a graduate of Meyers High School.  She continued her education at Wilkes-Barre Business School and was active for over 20 years with Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Auxiliary as a pink lady.  She was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue and the Jewish Community Center.

In addition to her parents, Dorie was preceded by her loving husband Irving Pezzner and brother Bernard Tepper.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Bonnie (Jonathan) Blum of Shavertown; son Alan (Gail) Pezzner of Bear Creek; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh Keith) Blum, Noah (Amy) Blum, Rocky Barge and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm in Ohav Zedek Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Shiva will be observed from 4 to 6 on Sunday, at the Jewish Community Center, Kingston.
