Donald Jay Ezrin, of Clarks Summit, died on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Wesley Village Rehabilitation, Pittston.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of the late Sidney and Edie Hassman Ezrin. He was a proud graduate of Coral Gables High School in Florida and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Miami. Donald served his country with honor, achieving the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a meaningful career as a hotel manager, lending his leadership and warmth to numerous hotels over the years.
In retirement, Donald found deep purpose in giving back to others. One of his proudest accomplishments was assisting in running the Prostate Cancer Awareness Support Group of Northeast Pennsylvania, where he offered guidance, support, and compassion to countless individuals and families.
Donald cherished the simple joys of life, especially the peaceful moments spent sitting in a chair on the beach, taking in the sun and the sound of the waves with family. He will be remembered for his service, his dedication to helping others, and the gentle spirit he shared with everyone who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lisa A. Reynolds Ezrin; daughters, Rachel and Renee Ezrin and brother, Alan Ezrin along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service, with Military Honors, will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
Arrangements under the direction of the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. Wilkes-Barre.
