Carol Kranson Roberts Obituary

Our beautiful sister, mother, aunt, partner, and friend passed away after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Through every challenge, she never gave up the fight. True to her spirit, she faced each day with strength, optimism, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest moments.

She proudly declared that she was “kicking it”—a phrase that perfectly captured her determination, resilience, and refusal to let cancer define her. She fought with everything she had, always finding reasons to smile, laugh, and keep moving forward.

She attended East Stroudsburg University and carried with her a lifelong love of cooking and baking. Even in high school, her talent in home economics was recognized, and she received several awards for her work—an accomplishment that reflected a passion she continued throughout her life.

She was also a beloved member of Konefal’s restaurant, where she worked as a favorite bartender. There, she met countless people and formed friendships that grew into lifelong relationships. She had a natural ability to make people feel welcome, whether they were longtime friends, familiar faces at the bar, or someone she had just met. Her warmth, humor, and genuine interest in others left an impression on everyone who crossed her path.

She was a fiercely devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, cheering them on with the same passion and loyalty she brought to everything she loved. Her Steelers pride was unmistakable, and there was always room for a little friendly rivalry, good-natured teasing, and plenty of football talk.

But above all, she was someone who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. She cherished her family, her friends, and the many people who became part of her life along the way. Her strength, laughter, generosity, and unmistakable spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Louis and Jean Kranson, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Cammie Morris and brother, Jay Kranson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jaren Morris, Eythan Morris; grandchildren, Chloe, Chase, Natalie, Aliyah, Mia, Gabriel; siblings, Marc Kranson, Janet (David) Hoffman, Eric Kranson, loving partner, Adam and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 am from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating.

Keep kicking it, Carol. We love you, and we always will.
