Chester (Chet) Hymen, 95, of Baltimore, MD, died peacefully, Monday, March 9, 2015, in Levindale Nursing & Rehabilitation, Baltimore, MD.
Born in Mildred, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ida Gottlieb
Hymen and served in the United States Army during World War II. Chet helped run the family Hardware Store, prior to retiring and was a member of Temple Israel Synagogue.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Grossman and Selma Hymen.
Mr. Hymen is survived by his brother, Harold Hymen, Baltimore, nieces
and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be today, Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at 3:00 pm in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating.
