Charlotte Grossman, 97, of New York City, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Atrium Assisted Living, NYC.
Born in Romania, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Sally Rudich Brier and earned her Masters Degree in Special Education when she was in her 40's. She worked as a Special Education Teacher and was a member of many civic and religious organizations.
She is survived by sons, Robert Grossman, MD, Dean and CEO of NYU Medical Center, NYC and Jay Grossman, MD, faculty of University of Miami Medicine, Miami, FL; three grandchildren, Ben of New York, David of Chicago, and Adriana of St. Paul; two great-grandchildren, Eliza and Max; brother, Marty Brier of Brooklyn; nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020, at 1:00 pm in Ohav Zedek Cemetery, 500 Chestnut Street, Hanover Township.
There will be no local shiva.
