Beverly F. Grossman, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Tiffany Court, Kingston, PA. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Beverly was born in Kingston, April 12, 1927 and attended schools in Kingston graduating in the top of her class in 1944. She married the love of her life, Bernard Grossman in 1947. Together they raised four sons. When the boys were old enough she went to work at the JCC and became office manager.
She was an eternal life member of Temple Israel and a life member of Hadassah. She and Bernie where avid bridge players and when they relocated to Florida, she became a bridge teacher. She assumed the role of president of the Willow Bend homeowners association, following Bernie's passing in 2007. She served in that role until 2018. She was preceded in death by her father Isadore, who passed away in 1935 when she was eight years old, leaving her mother Anne to raise her as a solo parent during the depression. Her mother passed away in 1971.
Surviving are her four sons. Dr. Ira (Debbie) Grossman, Dr. Richard (Fran) Grossman, Dr. Monte (Lisa) Grossman, Dr. Loren (Lisa) Grossman, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Bev's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Tiffany Court for their compassionate attention and extreme kindness they afforded to mom. Not to be left out was the wonderful care and comfort Jackie Zampetti provided as her caregiver.
Graveside Funeral service will be held in Temple Israel Cemetery, Swoyersville, Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2PM.
Shiva will be observed at Dr. Ira and Debbie Grossman's home, Shavertown, Sunday, June 17, from 2PM to 5PM
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Beverly's honor celebrating her life to Volunteers in Medicine, Pennsylvania Ave., Wilkes-Barre or the charity of your choice.
