Betty Yudkowitz died on July 10, 2013.
She was born in Nanticoke, PA to Yettie and Samuel Wisoker. She was a resident of Kingston, PA for 47 years, before moving to Delray Beach, FL in 1996.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Louis Yudkowitz in 1986.
She was a proud and devoted mother of Ellen Calmenson, NYC; Paula Yudkowitz, Oaklyn, NJ; Martin and Carolyn Yudkovitz, New Canaan, CT; and David Yudkowitz, (deceased), of Plains. She beamed with pride for her beloved grandsons, Alexander Yudkovitz and Daniel Yudkovitz. She is also survived by a dear sister, Muriel Saines and sister-in-law Ruth Yudkovitz and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a Life Member of Hadassah, National Council of Jewish Women, City of Hope and Temple Israel Sisterhood.
Funeral service will be conducted at the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River Street, Wilkes-Barre, on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be in Ohav Zedek Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Shiva will not be observed locally.
