BARBARA ROTHMAN GELB

Barbara Gelb, of West Pittston, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at home.

She was an executive secretary, prior to retirement; was a member of the Jewish Community Center and other civic and religious organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Kay Scholte Rothman; loving husband Sandor Gelb and beloved son Bradley Gelb.

She is survived by her brother Howard Rothman and his wife Gillian; nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 28, 2024 in Anshe Emes Cemetery, Blanchard Street, Plains, with Rabbi David Kaplan officiating.  

Please do not park on the neighbors grass, park inside the cemetery.

Shiva will be observed at the home of her brother and sister in law, Howard and Gillian Rothman, 55 Walden Drive, Mountain Top, PA 18707, Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm.
