ALBERT WEISSBERGER

Albert Weissberger, 94, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Monday morning, November 14, 2016, in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Lebowitz Weissberger and was a teacher at Wilkes College and Luzerne County Community College, prior to retiring.

Al was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by siblings, Hannah Weissberger, Lillian Goldstein, a former resident of Duryea, Ruth Bayarsky, Esther Weissberger and brother, Meyer Weissberger.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, including niece, Deborah Goldstein of Duryea.

Graveside Funeral will be today, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 3:00 pm in Scranton Jewish Cemeteries, Dalton.
