AARON MITTLEMAN

Aaron N. Mittleman, 90, of Hackensack, NJ, died in Hackensack Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ with family by his side.

Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Harry and Clara Maidenbaum Mittleman was a graduate of Roger Williams College where he earned his Bachelors Degree and served in the United States Army during World War II. Aaron was a member of Temple Israel, Wilkes-Barre and Temple Emeth, Teaneck, NJ and was a Manufacturer in the Garment Industry most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Sandy Mittleman and sisters, Constance Stern.

He is survived by children, Howard Mittleman and his wife, Pamela, North Coldwell; Cheryl Mittleman Stern, West Orange; Alan Mittleman and his wife, Chris, San Diego, CA; Marvin Mittleman, San Diego, CA; step son Marc Kanoff and his wife, Eve, grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at 12:00 noon in Temple Israel Cemetery, Dennison Street, Swoyersville, with Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiating.
