Oma H. Lenkofsky Weidner, 92, of Wilkes-Barre, died Monday morning, August 27, 2018.
Born in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence Belles Hettesheimer and was a member of Temple B'nai B'rith, Kingston. She volunteered at Mercy Hosptial and the American Red Cross for many years and prior to retirement, she worked at A. Rifkin Company, Hanover Twp.
Oma was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Lenkofsky; second husband, Harold Weidner and several siblings.
She is survived by daughter, Marcy Belles and her husband, Robert, Noxen; son, Martin Lenkofsky and his wife, Pam, Shickshinny; grandchildren, Jason Lenkofsky and Rachel Deiter; four great grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew, Jordyn and Jacob and siblings, James Hettesheimer and Ethel Jones.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at 11:00 am from the Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc. 348 S. River St. Wilkes-Barre, with Rabbi Roger Lerner officiating. Family will receive visitors from 10:30 am until time of service.
Interment will be in Temple B'nai B'rith Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
