Louis M. Robinson, 87, of Harrisburg (West Hanover Township), and formerly of Wilkes Barre and Baltimore, passed away on December 25, 2019.
Lou was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (’54), earning a degree in civil engineering. He served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was honorably discharged. In 1959 Lou began his career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He retired in 1986 as Assistant District Engineer for District 8-0, in Dauphin County. Lou was also a licensed surveyor and a member of the Robert H. Hoke American Legion Post 272 of Linglestown. In his retirement years he enjoyed oil painting and traveling the globe.
Lou is survived by his son, Daniel, of Harrisburg; and by two grandchildren, Victoria K. and Caroline K., also of Harrisburg.
Services will be Sunday, December 29, 2019, at 11:00 am at Rosenberg Funeral Chapel, Inc.
Burial with military honors will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
