It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jeffrey Alan Null.
Dr. Null, 70, was born in Boston, Ma, but resided in Plainfield, NJ for most of his life.
He attended and graduated from Plainfield High School, and received his bachelor of science degree from Gettysburg College. He then attended Howard University, where he was awarded his medical degree. He completed residencies in pathology at both Johns Hopkins and Yale universities.
Jeffrey was employed as chief pathologist for many years at Hazleton pathology. He was currently employed at Northeast Pathology in Scranton.
Jeffrey, a dog walker extraordinaire, had many passions. He was an avid skier, loved fast cars, and was a devoted fan of Penn State football and the New York Yankees. His love of travel took him to many places both far and near. He lived in Kingston since the early eighties. His daily walks with his dogs around the neighborhood were a constant pleasurable sight to behold.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Judy (Fortinsky) of 34 years, his children, Michael, Greg, Haley and Kerry, and five grandchildren, as well as by his brother Dr. Bill Null and his sister Sue Berman, as well as his beloved dogs Quincy and Archie.
Jeffrey will be sorely missed by his wonderful family and his many friends. His memory will serve as an inspiration to all.
Graveside services will be held on Monday August 27, 2018, at 4:00 pm, at Temple Israel Cemetery Dennison St. Swoyersville.
Shiva will be at the Woodlands immediately after the service and Tuesday august 28, 2018, 2-4, 6-8 at the family home, 778 Milford Dr, Kingston, Pa 18704.
